How can I check on my orders? Can I track the package?

We offer online order status, a feature that will let you check on your past and pending orders. Just click the Order Status link at the top right of any page. This will take you to the Order Status page, where you can view the details of past or pending orders. To review the status of a single order, you are required to enter the order number and the email address that was used to place the order. Account holders have the option of checking multiple orders by simply signing into their account. Once you have signed into your account, click on the Order Number you are inquiring about.

When viewing your order status, you'll be able to see which items have already shipped and which are in process. Our standard shipping is provided through USPS and we'll include a tracking number only if the purchase is $40 or more. You may also request to ship with UPS or Fedex, which contains tracking number but at a higher shipping price.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. We use the latest technology to keep your information safe. We guarantee that each purchase you make is protected and safe. If fraudulent charges are ever made, you will not have to pay for them.

What is your privacy policy?

What are my payment options?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, PayPal, and Stevens Bookshop Gift Certificates. If you want to call in your credit card information and complete your purchase by phone, you can. Just select the Pay by Phone option during Checkout and place your order. You'll receive an email with easy steps to complete your order by calling 919-872-5995 9am-8pm (ET) / Mon-Sat.

What are my shipping options?

We ship our products around the world, using a set standard of shipping options and delivery methods. Learn more about shipping options.

The total time it will take to receive an item is determined by adding the time shown in its shipping availability message to the number of days your chosen shipping method will take. For example, if the item you want to order says, "Usually ships within 2-3 days" and you choose "Standard Delivery (3 business days)," you can expect to receive the item 5-6 business days after the day you ordered it.

Canceling or Modifying an Order

Once your order has been accepted and scheduled to ship there are limited modifications that you can make to your order. Items that are listed as available to ship in 48 hours or 2–3 days cannot be canceled once the order has been scheduled to ship. Verifying That Your Order Has Been Canceled or Modified
You can review your Order Status at any time, but be aware that changes you have made to your order may not be reflected for up to 60 minutes, particularly during peak shopping periods.

Returns
If you decide that an item you ordered is not the one you want and it has been scheduled to ship, we make the returns process easy. You can return items within 14 days of their arrival, and we will provide the appropriate refund. Used and out-of-print books are non-refundable. If You Ordered by Phone
If you placed your order by phone with a Customer Service representative, the order status will be modified internally. To know your order status, please call at 919-872-5995 Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-8 p.m. ET, we are not available on Sunday.

What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?

Sometimes items in you order may fall out of stock while we are processing your order. In this event, you will receive an email notifying you of a delay. If you have other items in your order, they will be shipped as scheduled. We will continue trying to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. If the order is still out of stock 30 days after the first email is sent, you will be asked to approve a 30-Day Order Extension. If you do not approve the extension, this part of your order will be canceled within 24 hours. Remember, you can cancel your order at any time.

If you have pre-ordered an item and it is not in stock at the announced release date, you will be asked to approve a 30-Day Order Extension. If you do not approve the extension, this part of your order will be canceled within 24 hours.

Do you provide services to libraries?

We provide a variety of service and consultation to libraries of Christian educational institutions. If you have a list of books you are interested to stock your library, you can send the list to us at info@stevensbks.com. If you do not have a specific ”wish list”, we can help assist you in collecting for your library. We have assisted many libraries in making selections for them to purchase in order for their accreditation to be kept.

If we are selecting for you, we will concentrate on choosing books that are good to very good condition if they are used. Our inventory is very extensive and should cover most of your needs. In case, we can also backorder books for your library if its not available in our inventory through our network of publishers and distributors.

What if Stevens Bookshop Website does not carry the book I am looking for?

Presently only a portion of our inventory is listed on the internet. The inventory is continuously being updated daily from our half a million selection of used books in North Carolina. If you are looking for a specific book, you can contact us via phone and let us know the title, the author and genre. We will look for the book and if it is in our stock, we will call you back. Also, you can email us and receive an answer within 24 hours. Backorders from our network of publishers and distributors are available by over-the-phone request.

Can I trade or sell my used book at Stevens Bookshop?

You can bring your books to our retail location anytime during our opening hours (9am-6pm Mon-Fri, 9am-8pm Sat). No appointment required. We usually check your books in just a few minutes while you wait. We will make you a trade offer and you will receive trade credit. Trade credit is a gift certificate that can be used towards any book in the store. Gift Certificates have no cash value, and they do not expire. Gift Certificates are valid only at Stevens Bookshop retail store, it’s not valid for online purchases at Stevens Bookshop Website.

What kind of books do you trade?

We trade in almost any category, from Christian books, classic literature, history, self-help, children's books, business, cookbooks, to other subjects. The better condition the book is, the more value we will trade it for in return.

Do you purchase used books?

Our bookshop focuses on theological Christian books. In those cases, we will consider both trade and purchase options. We are currently not purchasing any other subjects other than biblical or theological titles.
