Calculating Shipping Costs
We charge a single flat fee for each shipment, plus additional, smaller fees for each item in that shipment. The total shipping charge will be displayed on the last page of the order form, before you submit your order. Here is the equation we use to calculate the total shipping cost:

When To Expect Your Order
Our estimated delivery date for your order is based how quickly we can obtain and ship your items, your shipping address, and the shipping speed and options you choose.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO Address: Standard Shipping Deliveries may take longer--up to 21 days for APO/FPO addresses.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
We use a variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. Most items may be shipped to P.O. boxes. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier when placing your order. When you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO Address:Some items cannot be shipped to these destinations or shipping method choices may be limited.
Shipping to a P.O. box:Some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a street address.
Signature Requirements:Signature upon delivery required for shipments over $400.

We offer two shipping speeds for orders sent to addresses in U.S. protectorates and territories: Standard Shipping and International Priority Shipping. (Note that if you select International Priority, your shipment will be considered international and may be subject to custom fees and import duties.)

Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility.
Restrictions
Most books and products that we carry can be shipped to almost all destinations outside the U.S. However, some restrictions might apply according to local laws, customs, and regulations. Books and equipments that require special handling because they are extremely heavy (for example, multi-volume sets) cannot be shipped outside the U.S.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form.
Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
