I am an award-winning screenwriter, author, and retreat leader. He is the author of twenty-one books for couples, parents, and young adults.

I'm the founder and former executive director of The Grove Center for the Arts & Media, an arts organization dedicated to cultivating the spiritual life and creative work of artists. Joey, his wife, Krista, live in San Clemente, California.
