Frequently,pervasive change is becoming a fact of life as organisations face increasing challenges in an ever competitive business environment. This situation breeds frequent change requirements and change management. Organisations are now finding it more difficult to cope with the myriads of changes necessitated by these adjustments so as to maximise firms’ performance. Hence, this study aimed at determining the empirical relationship between change management and firms’ performances. The study concluded that change management significantly determined firms’ performance. The study recommended among other things that managers should make change management an integral part of firms’ functions so as to ensure firms’ performance. A major implication of the findings for the industry is that it has provided an insight into some of the implications of change leadership, change readiness, change implementation and change commitment on firms’ performance in telecommunication industry. Change leadership is important but may not play a significant role on firms’ performance. Change agents should be ready to accept, adopt and adapt to the change.
