INTRODUCTION Strong lives are motivated by dynamic purposes; lesser ones exist on wishes and inclinations. Kenneth Hildebrand Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose. Helen Keller Every man must embark on the quest for his purpose in life. It is in this adventure that the meaning of existence is discovered, and life’s fulfillment is derived. What gives significance to life is discovering the purpose of life. There is no creation without a purpose of its existence. Weed is a plant whose purpose has not been discovered. What is purpose? Purpose is the why of a thing. It is the original intent of the creator for His creation. It is the reason for existence. The richest place on the face of the earth is the grave, because in it, are people buried great potentials, inventions, dreams and great ideas that were never borne. Myles Munroe A purpose centered mindset helps you to simplify life and helps you harness and distillate your abilities and aptitudes in living out your original intent. Purpose is one of the four dimensional powers for exceptional feat. Everyone born into this world is carved for an assignment, separated to a well-defined objective. A lot of people attempt to anesthetize the feeling of emptiness by drinking, flirting, partying, shopping or overeating. They want to relieve the twinge of meaninglessness and emptiness that is gnawing at them. Pain, however, is a trainer. Emptiness is nature's way of saying, ‘pay attention to your purpose’. The Great Game of Significance cannot be ignored. If you aren't winning at it, life will let you discern by feelings of tedium, lethargy, dissatisfaction and emptiness. You may query your amour-propre. You may not be happy with dollies and activities that used to please you. This is just Life letting you know you need to pay attention to living a life of purpose. Finding meaning and objective in all that you do, is the key to fulfillment. Your intent of being, creates the impetus that drives what you do, how you do it, with whom you do it, and everything else, It gives direction to your day, it gives you the reason to get out of bed every morning fuelled with enthusiasm and impregnable expectation. How do I discover my purpose? Lots of people always have the proclivity to ask this fundamental question: how do I find meaning and purpose in my life? The problem with this very imperative question and many others alike is that the answers are often sought in the wrong places and from the wrong people. For instance, if I want to find out the original intent and how to maximize the potential of Mercedes Benz car, I would have to go to the manufacturers of Mercedes Benz, instead of going to BMW. This is so due to the fact that, there is a universal principle, which indicates that the meaning and the original intent of a thing is in the mind of the producer. With that said, it is only appropriate to indicate that the purpose of a thing is found in the cradle of its origin. Your purpose is found in your source of origin. There are people in my life that have been significant in noticing my original intent and the expression of that intent, but the premise or axis on which that relationship should turn, is and must be, that you find God, who is your Manufacturer because your original intent and its expression is in His Him. Having the understanding of your Manufacturer/creator/Maker helps you to know who you are, your potentials and the why of your existence. You are created for an unequivocal objective and supernaturally framed to give expression to that objective. No matter your enterprise or estate in life, finding and molding yourself to fulfill that original plan for your life and bring meaning to your life and others, is your equitable quest. The ultimate solution, therefore, is to find God and discover your purpose and intent for your life in Him.
